Description
The Town of Middlesex is soliciting construction bids for its 2026 Emergency Watershed Protection Program. The work includes streambank stabilization and debris removal along Brook Road at three sites: 255 Brook Road, 203 Brook Road, and 77 Brook Road. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, surveying, and related services necessary to complete the work, including an as-built survey for final drawings. Bids must use the provided Bid Form and include a bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the total bid. The selected contractor must complete the project by August 31, 2027, provide performance and payment bonds equal to the contract price after award, and maintain the specified general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and builder's risk insurance. The project is federally funded and includes applicable federal requirements, including Davis-Bacon and related provisions when applicable.
