Description
The City of Springfield is seeking qualified, licensed independent contractors to provide on-call plumbing services for residential homes participating in the Springfield Home Repair Program. Work may include troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, or replacing plumbing equipment, parts, units, building components, or systems, along with related accessibility improvements such as ramps or grab bars. Multiple firms may be pre-qualified for a rotating on-call list, with work assigned through discrete work orders as needs arise. Contractors must be licensed and registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board for the specified work, maintain required insurance, comply with applicable codes and federal requirements, obtain permits, coordinate with homeowners, complete required testing and inspections, and submit invoices. Contractors must respond to work orders within the stated timeframes and give priority to emergency work. The response form requests company information, applicable work types, billing rates, material markups, standard fees, flat-rate charges, license information, and insurance information.
