Description
The Eugene Water & Electric Board is soliciting bids for extensive improvements to the Hayden Bridge lower pond area. The work includes major pressure pipeline installation, overflow structure construction, access road upgrades, fencing, sludge removal, site restoration, new hydrants, manhole construction, valve replacements, erosion control, and grading. The general contractor must demonstrate experience within the past five years managing or completing at least three qualifying pressure-pipeline projects and three related public-agency excavation projects involving at least 2,000 cubic yards of excavation. The proposed construction superintendent must meet specified pipeline and excavation experience requirements and remain on site full-time during construction. Bidders must comply with Oregon prevailing-wage requirements and applicable contractor licensing requirements. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for general contractor bidders.
