Description
The Town of North Providence is soliciting proposals for a professional Fourth of July fireworks display on July 3, 2027, with a rain date of July 5, 2027. The selected vendor must provide and professionally administer a continuous fireworks display lasting at least 30 minutes at Governor Notte Park Field, including the specified shell quantities and sizes, up to three ground displays, a launch plunger for a local representative, and preferably computerized firing controls. The vendor must supply qualified personnel, fireworks materials, transportation, setup, firing, required Rhode Island and local permits, and post-display inspection and cleanup. The scope also requires proof of licensing and insurance, operator qualifications, shell and show-sequence information, staffing and firing plans, evidence of prior fireworks-show experience, and compliance with applicable transportation and fireworks regulations. The Town will provide fire, police, rescue, crowd-control services, and crowd barriers. A pre-event meeting and site inspection are required after award, and final original insurance certificates must be provided by June 1, 2027.
