Description
The City of Providence, through Providence Public Schools, is requesting a complete FF&E procurement and installation package for five new PK-8 schools: Robert F. Kennedy Elementary School, Harry Kizirian Elementary School, Mary E. Fogarty Elementary School, Asa Messer/W. Broadway Elementary School, and Lima Stuart Elementary School. The selected provider must furnish the specified basis-of-design furniture and related equipment, including classroom and administrative furniture, seating, tables, shelving, storage, library furnishings, music equipment, stages, whiteboards, carpets, charging carts, medical furnishings, and specialized items such as kilns and ventilation systems. Alternates and substitutions will not be accepted. The scope includes procurement, product submittals, project management, coordination, freight, delivery, secure storage, restricted-site logistics, assembly, installation, temporary protection, debris removal, quality control, punch-list completion, warranty coordination, closeout documentation, and invoicing. Unit pricing is required for every listed item, with separate subtotals for each school and a total bid for all five schools. Bidders must provide qualifications, relevant educational-facility experience, at least three references, installation and storage capabilities, proposed subcontractors, and MBE/WBE documentation. MBE participation and WBE participation goals are each 10%, for a combined goal of 20%.
