The U.S. Navy is soliciting the manufacture of rotor torpedoes conforming to the specified design drawings, including Cage Code 53711 reference number 6934940-1. Each item must be serialized in accordance with Drawing 6934940, Revision F, Note 23; marked under MIL-STD-129; manufactured without metallic mercury contamination; and packaged, packed, preserved, and marked in accordance with the applicable contract schedule and MIL-STD-2073 requirements. The contractor must maintain an acceptable quality system compliant with ISO 9001, perform required inspections, retain inspection records for four years after final delivery, and comply with configuration-control procedures under MIL-STD-973. The solicitation includes a total small-business set-aside, a possible increased-quantity option 365 days after award, and evaluation based on the lowest aggregate total price including the option quantity.
