Description
This sole-source solicitation seeks Rockwell Collins Inc. (CAGE 17610) to manufacture and deliver multiple cartridge- and propellant-actuated devices and related explosive components for F-117 aircraft applications. The schedule includes cartridge-actuated thrusters, cartridge initiators, power-device cartridges, aircraft cartridge-actuated cutters, propellant initiators, a shaped-charge assembly for tailhook severance, and an electric detonator assembly. Quantities range from 15 to 60 units per line item, with required delivery by September 30, 2028 for the scheduled items. The procurement includes stringent aviation critical-safety, explosive-material, quality, lot-acceptance testing, traceability, ammunition data-card, engineering-change, variance, obsolescence, DMSMS, physical marking, hazardous-material shipping, and military packaging requirements. Deliverables include electronic and hard-copy ammunition data cards, test and inspection documentation, and other contract data submissions through specified government systems after award or during performance.
