Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command–Rock Island at Picatinny, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager, Close Combat Systems, is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of producing the Government-developed Shank 2.0 payload, training warhead, and pre-packed anti-personnel warhead for employment on small unmanned aerial system platforms. The Government is also seeking industry recommendations to improve the Technical Data Package for producibility. This is a Sources Sought notice, not a request for proposals, and does not commit the Government to award a contract. Responses should describe the respondent’s manufacturing capabilities, relevant experience with Picatinny CLIK or alternative interfaces, rough-order-of-magnitude pricing and ramp-up schedule, TDP producibility recommendations, supply-chain risks and mitigations, organizational and ownership information, and any proposed subcontracting or teaming structure. The response may not exceed 10 pages, must use at least 10-point font and bullet format, and must be submitted in Microsoft Word or PDF. Respondents must demonstrate certification to receive export-controlled technical data and facility clearance to handle classified material; classified material must not be submitted.
