Description
The City of Detroit is seeking a consultant to develop a Building Decarbonization Strategy that informs current and future city programs and services. The work will address energy burden reduction, building efficiency, electrification, renewable energy, resilience, and emissions reductions across single-family residential, multifamily and mixed-use, small commercial and institutional, and large commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings. The scope includes project management; review and analysis of existing building, energy, benchmarking, and program data; stakeholder inventory and engagement; development and prioritization of programs; preparation of strategy documents at 30%, 60%, and 90% completion; workshops and presentations; documented assumptions and underlying data; and final print- and web-ready strategy materials in editable formats. The contract term is one year, and the City anticipates one or multiple awards.
