Description
The City of Pleasanton Public Works Department's Utility Division is seeking statements of qualifications and hourly rate proposals from qualified consultants to provide on-call construction management and inspection services for various water and sewer capital improvement projects. Services may include preconstruction and constructability reviews, construction administration, scheduling, contract documentation, utility coordination, quality assurance and quality control, construction inspection, resident engineering, pay estimate review, change-order support, risk management, project closeout, and related reporting. The City anticipates executing initial three-year agreements for fiscal years 2026/27 through 2028/29 with up to three qualified consultants, with up to two optional one-year extensions. The aggregate initial-term agreement amount, split among selected consultants, is $5,200,000; additional funding for extensions is not guaranteed. Respondents must submit a statement of qualifications and a separate password-protected fee schedule, with the SOQ limited to 25 one-sided pages. The scope covers projects such as water-main, pump-station, tank, SCADA, sewer, siphon, lift-station, emergency-power, and related utility improvements.
