Description
The City of Omaha is soliciting a single prime contractor for renovation of Lake James Park. The work includes removing and replacing playground equipment and surfacing; installing poured-in-place rubber playground safety surfacing and drainage; replacing benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, and bicycle racks; removing and replacing sections of concrete walkways and the basketball court and goals; and performing earthwork, grading, storm drainage, pavement markings, and seeding. The project includes a 10% Small and Emerging Small Business reserve for eligible Tier I and Tier II categories. Bidders must submit the electronic bid, bid security, Responsible Contractor Compliance Form, Certificate of Insurance, Employee Classification Act affidavit, Certificate of Compliance, and SEB Participation Disclosure Form. Performance, payment, and warranty bonds are required after award, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The stated completion date is June 30, 2027, subject to the notice-to-proceed provisions.
