Description
The contractor will install, test, and start up 30-inch and 36-inch cement-mortar-lined and coated welded steel transmission pipelines. The work includes connections and fittings; isolation, air/vacuum, and blow-off valves; a corrosion-monitoring system; traffic control; demolition and abandonment; disposal and dewatering; trenching and backfill; street pavement repair; disinfection; permits; and other work required by the specifications and contract drawings. The opportunity lists a 270-day project duration, requires a 10% bid bond, and requires the contractor to hold a California Class A General Engineering Contractor license and/or Class C-34 Pipeline Contractor license, as well as be a registered DIR public works contractor.
