Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for market research on a planned construction project to replace the water distribution and sanitary sewer systems serving the Big Oak Flat Welcome Center, Hodgdon Meadow Campground, and staff housing areas. The water work includes new water lines, a 210,000-gallon storage tank and access road, a well and pump, a treatment and control building, and electrical and communications service. The sewer work includes connecting the Big Oak Flat sanitary sewer to the campground wastewater system with approximately 3,500 feet of sewer line, 20 manholes, and three service laterals. The park will remain open during construction, and work must minimize visitor impacts and protect the surrounding area. Seasonal shutdowns, including for owl nesting, apply; winter construction is not anticipated. The anticipated performance period is 670 calendar days, including potential weather shutdowns. This notice requests a completed Sources Sought Survey Questionnaire to inform acquisition strategy; it is not a solicitation, and proposals are not being requested or accepted at this time. Bid, performance, and payment bonds are anticipated for the future contract.
