Description
The project includes construction of a new 300-gallon-per-minute water treatment plant with filtration and chemical feed systems, pumps, controls, site piping, raw-water detention, and a building. It also includes furnishing and installing a potable-water main extension with piping, fittings, valves, hydrants, services, connections, disconnections, appurtenances, and surface restoration. Bidders must submit bid security equal to 5% of the total base bid for the divisions bid, in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond. The work is subject to applicable funding-program, labor, disadvantaged-business-enterprise, domestic-preference, and apprenticeship requirements. Substantial completion is required within 360 days of the Notice of Award, with final completion within 390 days.
