Description
Riverside Transit Agency seeks a qualified, California-licensed C-10 electrical contractor for a turnkey LED lighting retrofit and energy-efficiency upgrade at three facilities: Corona Transit Center, Riverside headquarters, and the Hemet facility. The contractor must furnish labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, commissioning, documentation, and other incidentals to replace existing lighting systems with high-efficiency LED lighting and lighting controls. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements, and the contractor and subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations when the proposal is submitted. The proposal must include a technical proposal, a completed price form with facility-level pricing and a grand total, required offeror forms, supporting financial documentation, and a bid bond or other permitted bid security of at least 10% of the bid. The price form also requests a project completion duration and additional-work unit rates. Performance and payment bonds, each at 100% of the contract amount, are required of the successful bidder before work begins.
