This is a Sources Sought notice for preventive maintenance and "as needed" reactive repair services for the Joint Armament Facility (JAF) Machine Shop located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The services include performing vibration analysis, drawbar force tests, geometry inspections, major maintenance checks, and comprehensive checks on mechanical, electrical, air, coolant, and spindle lubrication systems. Annual ballbar calibration is also required. All checks and maintenance must be performed by certified factory-trained technicians. The contract is anticipated to be a small business set-aside, provided at least two qualified small businesses respond with sufficient information. The anticipated NAICS code is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $12.5 million. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) details the specific machines covered, including Haas MINIMILL, Haas ST-15Y Lathe, Chicago CPBG29DAPI-Air Compressor, Haas CL-1 Lathe, OMAX 1515/M30 Water Jet, and Sodick VL400Q EDM Wire Machine. The contract will cover preventive maintenance, reactive services, and spare parts. The period of performance is expected to be one base year with four 12-month option periods.
