Description
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is issuing a Sources Sought notice to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs), Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE), and other vendors capable of providing Dental Equipment Preventative Maintenance (PM) Services for the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit in Lame Deer, Montana. This notice is not a solicitation for proposals. The IHS is prioritizing the use of the Buy Indian Act, which gives preference to Indian Economic Enterprises. Vendors responding must submit a capability statement and the Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form. The services required include preventive maintenance, inspection, testing, and minor repair services for government-owned dental equipment, performed in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. This includes equipment from manufacturers such as A-dec, Dentsply, and Cavitron. Contractors must be authorized or certified to service this equipment, provide qualified technicians, and use OEM or OEM-equivalent replacement parts. Written service reports are required within ten business days of each service visit. Emergency repair services must have a response time of no more than 48 hours. Services are to be performed during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mountain Time), excluding Federal Holidays. No remote connectivity will be permitted for the performance of services. The period of performance is one base year with four option year periods.
