Description
The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is soliciting competitive quotes for the repair of overhead door/opening #7 at the Altoona Maintenance Garage. The scope of work, along with supporting documents and photos, is provided. This is a general construction service that includes maintenance and repair. The estimated start date for the work is July 1, 2026, with an estimated completion date of September 1, 2026. The Iowa DOT will provide direct supervision and conduct periodic site inspections. The contractor must provide at least 24 hours' notice before installation for inspection. The DOT is a tax-exempt agency, and Davis-Bacon wages do not apply.
