Description
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is soliciting bids for an Agency Specific Term Contract to furnish and deliver eggs on an "as needed" basis to the Meat Processing Plant. The contract will have an initial term of six months, beginning July 1, 2026, with the option to renew for an additional six months. The solicitation includes detailed specifications for frozen egg whites, frozen whole eggs, and liquid whole eggs, including requirements for pasteurization, homogenization, pH levels, bacterial standards, packaging, and labeling. Vendors must also provide manufacturer labels, nutritional data, and allergen information with their bids. Samples may be required prior to bid opening for non-approved product labels. Delivery is to be Free-On-Board (FOB) Destination to specified locations in Lillington, NC, and Sanford, NC, with specific delivery hours and a requirement to complete delivery within ten consecutive calendar days after receipt of a purchase order.
