Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services for Steris sterilization equipment preventative maintenance and repair services for the Veterans Healthcare Administration Salt Lake City Health Care System (VHASLCHCS). The services include comprehensive full-service maintenance, routine and emergency repair services for government-owned sterilizers, washers, dryers, and other related equipment. The contractor must ensure equipment functions in conformance with original manufacturer specifications and relevant industry standards. Priority technical support and remote monitoring will be provided 24/7, with a 30-minute response time for phone notification of issues. Emergency repairs require on-site arrival within 4 hours if the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. Scheduled preventative maintenance will be performed semi-annually, including cleaning, diagnostics, calibration, lubrication, and inspection/replacement of parts. Only new OEM parts are acceptable, and rebuilt or used parts are prohibited. The contractor must also supply all necessary tools, test equipment, service manuals, and diagnostic software. Offerors must be an OEM, authorized dealer, and possess authorized Steris equipment certification, verified by an authorization letter from the OEM. Quotes are due by June 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST.
