Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19, is seeking potential sources for an agreement to provide Preventive Maintenance Services on York Chillers and Trane Chillers for the Salt Lake City VAMC in Salt Lake City, UT. The services include 12-month control technician support for preventive maintenance and servicing, not exceeding 40 hours per month, with a maximum 2-hour response time for service requests 24/7. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price type. Specific maintenance tasks are detailed for various York and Trane chiller models, including inspections, cleaning, coolant checks, electrical diagnostics, vibration analysis, and reporting. The contractor must comply with all applicable VA, OSHA, and manufacturer safety requirements, including lockout/tagout procedures, and possess EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling. Hazardous waste disposal and infection control measures are also required.
