Description
The Town of Tyrone is soliciting proposals for comprehensive residential curbside solid waste collection and recycling services within its incorporated limits, covering approximately 3,000 eligible residential dwelling units. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, vehicles, containers, customer service, billing, disposal, recycling processing, reporting, and all other resources required for service delivery. The scope includes weekly garbage and single-stream recycling collection, contractor-furnished 96-gallon garbage carts and recycling carts, monthly bulk waste collection, twice-monthly yard waste collection, overflow collection, cart repair and replacement, missed-collection response, customer education, complaint tracking, online service requests and payments, permitted disposal, and collection at designated Town facilities and events. The initial contract term is three years, with one optional additional three-year renewal term. Proposals must address qualifications, municipal experience, financial stability, operations, customer service, transition, reporting and technology, pricing, certifications, and exceptions.
