The Department of the Treasury, Office of International Affairs, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather market capabilities for hosting the Group of Seven (G7) Finance Track Deputies meeting. This two-day event is planned for February 24 through March 3, 2027. The ideal venue and city should offer sufficient sleeping rooms, meeting spaces, and cultural engagement activities to accommodate Deputy Ministers and Governors. Respondents are encouraged to highlight unique attributes, competitive advantages, accessibility, prestige, security considerations, and opportunities for attendee engagement that would enhance the meeting experience. The G7 Finance Track is a key forum for economic and financial policy coordination among Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with participation from the European Union. The United States will assume the G7 Presidency in 2027, with the Treasury and the Federal Reserve co-hosting the Finance Track, which includes deputies' meetings and a ministerial meeting. The requirements include a room block ranging from 30 rooms on the first and last days to 175 rooms during the meeting days. Food and beverage services, including all meals and snacks, are required. Reception options, both on-site and off-site, with food and beverage for 175 attendees, are also part of the scope. Specific meeting room configurations are detailed, including a plenary room, bilateral meeting rooms, a government work room, hold rooms, a lunchroom, and private rooms for nursing mothers, prayer, security, and first aid. Additionally, respondents should propose one to three cultural engagement event options for approximately 130 participants, showcasing local character and attractions. A transportation plan for attendees between airports, lodging, and venues, as well as a security support plan, are also required. Respondents should also list recent experiences with similar conferences, accommodation and catering capacities, local partners for interpretation and IT/AV setup, cancellation policies, and main subcontractors.
