Description
Saunders County, Nebraska is soliciting bids for the supply of materials to construct corrugated metal pipes with steel headwalls and wingwalls at five distinct project sites. The projects are referred to as "Saunders County 2026 Culverts: C-78(821), C-78(886), C-78(888), C-78(893), & C-78(898)". The scope of work includes all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required to fabricate and deliver materials for the construction of these culverts. Specific culvert details include twin 120"x50' corrugated metal pipes with a 35-degree skew for C-78(821); quadruple 60"x40' corrugated metal pipes with a 0-degree skew for C-78(886); triple 84"x46' corrugated metal pipes with a 25-degree skew for C-78(888); triple 96"x40' corrugated metal pipes with a 0-degree skew for C-78(893); and twin 84"x50' corrugated metal pipes with a 30-degree skew for C-78(898). All installations will include steel headwalls and wingwalls. Bids are due by 9:15 a.m. on July 7, 2026, and will be opened shortly thereafter. The desired delivery date for the materials is twelve to fourteen weeks after the award of the contract. A bid bond or certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal amount is required with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a surety bond equal to or greater than the full contract amount within ten (10) days of award.
