Description
The Suffolk County Water Authority seeks a supplier to manufacture, factory-test, and deliver 5,000 linear feet of automatic blowoff control cable assemblies, supplied on two 2,500-foot wooden master reels. Each assembly must contain three No. 12 AWG and seventeen No. 14 AWG stranded copper conductors, individually colored and labeled, with dual-rated THHN/THWN insulation, spiral construction, resin-bonded nylon binding, and continuous sequential footage tape marked at one-foot intervals. The supplier must perform continuity testing and inspect each wire for insulation defects and physical abnormalities. The cable must be delivered complete, properly packaged, and in first-class condition, with all shipping and delivery costs included. The solicitation requires electronic submission through BidNet Direct and includes a pricing sheet, insurance acknowledgment, and vendor contact information form. The purchase is a one-time delivery requirement, with delivery requested by December 1, 2026.
