Description
The Federal Aviation Administration is conducting a sources-sought market survey for a turnkey, one-time Experimental Aircraft Examiner qualification event for one FAA Aviation Safety Inspector. The requirement includes at least 12 hours of specialized ground instruction and at least 8 hours of advanced dual flight instruction focused on the Embraer EMB-314 Super Tucano, examiner evaluation methods, simulated emergencies, and applicable FAA requirements. The contractor must provide an airworthy EMB-314 Super Tucano with an active Experimental-Exhibition airworthiness certificate, along with fuel, lubricants, maintenance personnel, hangar space, launch and recovery facilities, and coordination of the formal examiner evaluation check ride. The consolidated training and evaluation event may not exceed seven consecutive calendar days and must be completed by September 30, 2026. Interested firms must submit a capability statement describing relevant aircraft training, past performance, SAM UEI, years in business, training location, and approach; SBA 8(a) firms must also provide their certification letter if applicable.
