Description
The City of Cortez is seeking statements of qualifications and experience from consulting firms to provide airport engineering services under a five-year contract, subject to annual review. Services will support airport improvements and aviation demand, including projects funded through federal airport assistance or other sources. The scope covers preliminary planning, grant coordination, surveys and investigations, environmental and engineering studies, design, plans and specifications, cost estimates, construction safety and phasing plans, bidding and negotiation support, construction administration and inspection, payment and change-order assistance, project closeout, record drawings, grant documentation, and related technical services. The solicitation requires firms to be licensed and in good standing, have at least three years of comparable experience, and comply with applicable laws. Fees are not to be included; project fees will be negotiated on a task-order basis. DBE firms are encouraged to participate, and Colorado resident vendors and Colorado labor receive preference as provided by law.
