Description
Emerald Coast Utilities Authority is soliciting construction bids for the Downtown Water and Sewer Upgrades project in Pensacola. The work includes replacing approximately 850 linear feet of undersized gravity sewer main with 8-inch PVC; installing three sanitary sewer manholes, 21 sewer laterals with cleanouts, and five existing manhole connections; replacing approximately 800 linear feet of water mains and 10 water services; and installing related valves, tees, tapping assemblies, a fire hydrant assembly, meter boxes, and service connections. The project also includes sewer bypass pumping, dewatering, CCTV inspection, pressure testing, disinfection, record drawings, traffic maintenance, erosion control, landscaping, concrete and curb restoration, and reconstruction of approximately 4,500 square yards of asphalt roadway. This is a unit-price contract with an estimated 240 calendar days to substantial completion and 270 calendar days to final completion. A Florida contractor's license, 5% bid bond, 100% performance bond, 100% payment bond, and required insurance are specified. Bidders must submit the completed bid form, subcontractor and supplier list, required certifications and disclosures, bid bond, power of attorney, and acknowledgment of addenda.
