Description
The City of Asheboro is requesting statements of qualifications from qualified aviation consultants to provide administrative, planning, design, surveying, and construction management services for airside and landside improvements at Asheboro Regional Airport over the next five years. The scope may include federal and state assistance applications, airport master planning, Part 150 studies, environmental services, land acquisition, pavement evaluation, and preparation of plans, specifications, and contract documents. Potential projects include runway rehabilitation and extension, taxiways, hangar site preparation, apron expansion and overlays, guidance signs, lighting, navigational aids, hangars, fueling and support facilities, crack sealing, obstruction clearing, fencing, terminal, roadway, parking, and utility improvements. This is a qualifications-based solicitation and does not request a priced proposal. Submittals must include firm information, the office location performing the work, references for similar airport projects funded through Federal Airport Improvement Program or North Carolina State aviation funds within the past five years, proposed personnel qualifications, and descriptions of errors and omissions insurance, general liability insurance, and the firm's EEO policy.
