Description
The Federal Aviation Administration is conducting a sources-sought market survey for vendors capable of providing initial and recurrent pilot qualification training for FAA inspectors and pilots operating the Gulfstream G280. The scope includes ground school, full-flight-simulator training and, for initial qualification where applicable, aircraft flight training and practical testing to Airline Transport Pilot standards for an unrestricted type rating. Recurrent training must support pilot-in-command proficiency checks. The contractor must use an FAA-approved training program, provide qualified instructors, aircraft and/or approved full-flight-simulator resources, training aids and facilities, pilot operating or equivalent training manuals, syllabi and schedules, and support required checks and completion documentation. The anticipated procurement strategy is a firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery requirements contract, with training dates established by mutual agreement and task-order funding authorization. Interested vendors must submit an expression of interest describing relevant aircraft-specific experience and past performance, capabilities and resources, ability to provide appropriately certified U.S. citizen personnel, and quality-control approach.
