Description
Johnson County Special Utility District is soliciting sealed electronic bids for construction of the CR 1205 8-inch and 12-inch Water Supply Line Project. The work includes approximately 3,320 linear feet of new waterline—about 1,760 linear feet of 12-inch line and 1,560 linear feet of 8-inch line—primarily installed by open cut. The project also includes 240 linear feet of 8-inch fusible PVC installed by horizontal directional drilling for a creek crossing; 40 linear feet of 8-inch PVC installed inside a 16-inch steel casing by auger boring; plugging and abandonment of approximately 3,300 linear feet of existing waterlines; system tie-ins; service-line reconnections; gas-line crossings; valves and fittings; testing; and site restoration. Bids must be submitted electronically through CivCast, and the bid must include bid security equal to 5% of the total bid in the form specified by the solicitation.
