Description
The City of Fort Worth Water Department seeks non-exclusive agreements for as-needed inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, refurbishment, removal, installation, startup, commissioning, engineering support, hydraulic evaluation, sizing, and maintenance of submersible, self-priming, and vertical close-coupled wastewater pumps and associated controls, instrumentation, components, replacement parts, and equipment. The scope includes new explosion-proof submersible sewage pumps and related equipment, including manufacturer startup services, as well as field removal and installation, pump evaluation, written repair quotations, testing, reporting, and delivery to City facilities. Respondents must demonstrate authorization to sell, service, repair, and provide replacement parts for applicable pump manufacturers; provide manufacturer and model information, product literature, pricing, technical approach, qualifications, past-performance references, service responsiveness, and required bid-table responses. The solicitation establishes a 30% Small Business participation goal, requires current certification documentation for participating Small Business firms, and uses best-value evaluation. The resulting agreement is expected to support ongoing, as-needed requirements with an initial one-year term and up to four one-year renewal periods.
