Description
Tarrant County is soliciting bids for the purchase and installation of snow and ice plows for multiple county vehicles. The solicitation covers heavy-duty, municipality-grade equipment, including J-shaped and straight-blade plows with specified minimum blade dimensions, carbon-steel or equivalent construction, vehicle-specific mounting systems, adjustable angles or tilt, self-leveling or self-contained hydraulic capabilities where specified, trip and shock systems, plow-mounted headlights, and remote-controlled operation features. Bidders must provide pricing, product literature and detailed specifications, warranty information, manufacturer and model information, estimated delivery and installation lead times, and installation services. Vendors must be full-service dealers capable of performing service and repairs, and must provide required insurance and three customer references. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder meeting the specifications and in the best interest of the county.
