Description
Tarrant County is soliciting bids for an annual, as-needed supply of Type A, Grade 1-2 flexible road base materials used primarily to repair failing pavement. Materials must be crushed stone from a single naturally occurring quarry source, may not contain gravel or blended sources, and must meet the current Texas Department of Transportation Item 247 requirements. Additives such as lime, cement, fly ash, or field sand may not be used to modify the material. The solicitation includes pricing for material loaded at the vendor's plant, material delivered to County jobsites, per-ton freight charges, and related unlisted products. Vendors must identify minimum order requirements, loading hours, operating days, and plant address. Delivery capacity of up to 200 tons per delivery anywhere within Tarrant County is preferred. The contract term is 12 months, with two additional 12-month renewal options by mutual agreement. The bid requires three references, diversity classification information, a W-9, and completion of the online bid attributes and pricing schedules.
