Description
The City of Fort Worth Water Department is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive inflow and infiltration micro-detection study covering one sub-basin within the Marine Creek basin wastewater collection system. The selected contractor will provide labor, equipment, materials, traffic control, right-of-way permitting, and coordination with Department staff. The scope includes pre-field investigation and planning; installation and operation of an ultrasonic flow-monitoring network for at least 60 days, with a possible additional 30 days if sufficient rainfall is not captured; localized rain-gauge monitoring; acoustic pipeline inspections in accordance with ASTM F3220-17; hosted GIS and real-time data platforms; analysis of groundwater infiltration and rainfall-derived inflow and infiltration; severity rankings; GIS deliverables; a technical summary report; and a final presentation. Proposals should be approximately 20 pages excluding appendices and must include the requested project approach, sample deliverables, key personnel, experience and references, and an itemized cost proposal. The estimated budget and maximum total proposal amount are $150,000.
