Description
The City of Fort Worth is soliciting electronic bids for construction of the Marine Creek Sanitary Sewer Parallel Interceptor M-279 and M-245B, Part II. Unit I includes approximately 3,960 linear feet of 48- to 72-inch sanitary sewer pipe installed by open cut; 570 linear feet of 72-inch sewer pipe with 90-inch steel casing by open-shield pipejacking; 2,430 linear feet of 48- to 72-inch sewer pipe installed within steel casing or tunnel liner; and 1,470 linear feet of 6- to 18-inch sewer pipe. The work also includes bypass pumping, two sanitary sewer siphon structures, two sanitary sewer junction structures, appurtenances, and testing. Unit II includes approximately 2,200 linear feet of 36-inch water pipe by open cut; 280 linear feet of 36-inch water pipe with steel casing or tunnel liner; 425 linear feet of 24-inch AWWA C200 steel water pipe on an existing bridge; 4,330 linear feet of 6- to 12-inch water pipe; cathodic protection for 24- to 36-inch water pipe; associated appurtenances; and required testing. Certain improvements must be performed by a contractor or designated subcontractor prequalified by the City at bid opening. The lowest-price bid, together with qualifications and competencies, will be considered for award.
