Description
The City of Fort Worth is soliciting a unit-price contract for miscellaneous task orders involving pavement rehabilitation and related public-works construction. The scope includes concrete pavement repair or replacement; concrete curb and gutter repair; concrete sidewalks, driveways, and barrier-free curb ramps; pavement markings; traffic control; excavation, base courses, drainage and utility adjustments; landscaping restoration; and associated mobilization and work-order activities. The contract documents identify a stated contract price of $2,500,000, with renewals for up to two additional terms and a maximum total contract duration of five years from the initial effective date. The solicitation requires electronic submission through the procurement portal, including the bid form, proposal/unit-price bid, bid bond, vendor compliance form, contractor workers’ compensation compliance form, small-business utilization form and certificates, conflict-of-interest statement, and completed bid-table response. A 30% small-business goal applies if the contract value is $100,000 or more, and the bidder must perform at least 35% of the contract value with its own organization unless the City approves otherwise.
