Description
Tarrant County Sheriff's Office SWAT Division is soliciting bids for multiple rifle weapon systems and accessories: 32 short-barrel rifle systems, four mid-range precision rifle systems, two long-range precision rifle systems, one heavy long-range precision rifle system, and eight multi-platform rifle weapon system on-gun lasers. Systems include specified optics, suppressors or muzzle devices, lights, magazines, bipods, slings, mounts, and related accessories. The solicitation requires detailed product specification sheets, lifetime warranties for specified rifle and suppressor products, and compliance with the stated technical specifications. The vendor must be a Federal Firearms License holder and Special Occupational Taxpayer authorized to sell the specified firearms, and must provide required licenses and certifications. The county may request an on-site rifle demonstration within seven consecutive calendar days after notification, at no cost to the county, and the vendor must be able to provide specified armorer and operator/transition training and documentation of similar Texas SWAT agency contracts.
