Description
This Request for Quote seeks a firm-fixed-price purchase order for the removal and replacement of approximately 4,370 square feet of carpet on the first floor of Building 122 at Peterson Space Force Base. The work includes coordination for bio-environmental screening of hazardous materials, removal and off-base disposal of existing carpet and rubber cove base, daily cleanup, furniture relocation and repositioning, installation of commercial-grade modular carpet tiles or planks over existing vinyl flooring with low-VOC adhesive, new vinyl cove base, door-bottom trimming, and wall spackling and painting as needed. On-site equipment storage is prohibited, and the contractor must coordinate with the Government regarding removal of IT cables, power cords, and personal items before furniture relocation. The project concludes with a Quality Assurance acceptance inspection. The quote must include separate pricing for carpet, adhesive, and installer services including shipping, along with technical documentation demonstrating compliance with the requirements. The quote must state that an approved carpet vendor identified in the manufacturer point-of-contact list will be used. The resulting award will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order, with completion required within 60 calendar days after award. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Vendors must be registered in SAM.gov and complete their representations and certifications there before award consideration.
