Description
The project will upgrade the City of Fairfield’s wastewater treatment plant by replacing more than 3,000 feet of deteriorating water distribution lines and original system components, including valves, fire hydrants, and yard hydrants. The base bid must include the primary sludge line. The work also includes rerouting an existing raw sludge pipeline to correct flow restrictions, maintain a continuous sludge supply, and preserve positive suction pressure for the plant’s raw sludge pumps. The engineer’s estimate is $1,004,196.
