This Sources Sought notice concerns a potential contract for remote sensing and geophysical surveying using ground-penetrating radar (GPR) in up to five acres of the Coconino National Forest. The base requirement covers approximately two acres, with two optional units covering an additional three acres. The work must identify and characterize subsurface disturbances and anomalies, using transects no more than one meter apart, minimum two-meter GPR depth penetration, sub-meter GPS, and a physical survey datum. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, field survey services, geospatial data in standard shapefile format, georeferenced maps, digital photographs, raw survey data, and draft and final reports documenting methods, personnel qualifications, analysis, anomaly interpretation, conclusions, and recommendations. Work must meet ASTM D6432-20 and applicable GPR training and certification standards. The base period of performance is from award through December 1, 2027; fieldwork is expected to begin in 2026 and be completed by June 15, 2027. Optional units have a one-year period of performance with a possible one-year extension. This notice is not a solicitation; a future solicitation is expected.
