Description
Elbert County Government is soliciting bids for fencing work at the Elbert County Public Works Department Shop in Kiowa and the Elbert County Simla Fuel Tanks site. The scope includes removal of selected barbed-wire fencing; installation of approximately 3,563 linear feet of chain-link fencing at the Public Works site; a 20-by-60-foot chain-link parts enclosure; two 14-foot chain-link gates; a 12-foot agricultural gate; a 12-foot chain-link gate; a 4-foot chain-link pedestrian gate; and four walk-through gates at the fuel-tank site, which requires approximately 100 feet of fencing. The work also includes removal of asphalt for enclosure post installation and associated posts, rails, fittings, reinforcements, attachments, gate hardware, and concrete footings. Bidders must submit pricing for the specified equipment and services, detailed material and construction information, any value-added offerings, and an explanation of their qualifications. The bid must use the provided bidder certification and include all requested pricing and specification information. The resulting arrangement is described as a blanket purchase agreement with no guaranteed minimum or maximum dollar amount or quantity. A contractor's license and insurance are required; the insurance certificate must show coverage meeting at least Colorado statutory limits. Evaluation may consider bid comparisons, reference checks, and past experience.
