Description
Brevard County is soliciting bids from qualified staffing firms to provide temporary workers on an as-needed basis for county departments and offices. The scope covers approximately 30 job categories, including clerical and administrative positions, engineering and environmental roles, maintenance and skilled-trade positions, library staff, treatment-plant workers, mosquito-control personnel, and aircraft mechanics. The County may also request additional positions as needed, and assignments are generally expected to last less than twelve months. The contractor must recruit, screen, hire, and provide qualified personnel; conduct required background checks, drug and alcohol testing, evaluations, and related employment administration; manage payroll and employment requirements; and maintain an adequate staffing pool capable of responding to requests within 48 hours. Positions are not remote and must be staffed locally at County locations. The County does not guarantee any minimum or maximum usage. The contract term is five years from award, with pricing subject to review after the first 12 months. Insurance is required, including general liability and auto liability limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and statutory workers' compensation coverage.
