Description
The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is seeking offers for background investigation services under a contract with five base years and five option years, exercisable at MTS's sole discretion. The updated cost form requires bundled services to be priced as an all-inclusive flat rate and as-needed services on a fixed price-per-applicant basis. Education verification and credential/professional license verification are separate services and must be priced separately. Pricing is fixed for the project, and estimated quantities are for bidding purposes only; MTS does not guarantee those quantities. Addendum 1 revises identity, name, and criminal-history search requirements. Searches must account for former, maiden, alias, and other names identified through disclosures and other identifying information; additional name searches are included in the bundled service fee. County criminal-history searches cover relevant jurisdictions identified through the applicant's information, and criminal-history searches must be conducted only after a conditional offer where required by applicable law. The revised Cost Pricing Form must be used, and Addendum 2 must be acknowledged on the PlanetBids Addenda tab for the submission to be responsive.
