Description
The contractor will provide ground ambulance services, including all personnel, supervision, ambulances, medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, communications equipment, training, and other resources needed for performance. The scope includes two dedicated ambulances providing continuous 24/7 advanced and basic life support and patient transport, one ambulance for active airfield hours, and standby ambulance coverage for athletic events, special events, training, and exercises. Up to four additional ambulances may be requested for events. Services include emergency response, patient assessment and treatment, stabilization, transport, coordination with emergency-response partners, and required reporting and billing activities. The anticipated performance structure includes a 60-day phase-in, a 12-month base year, two 12-month option years, and an optional six-month extension. Quotes must include a cover letter, a completed pricing schedule, past-performance information, and a written plan for continuing essential services during a crisis. The solicitation is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside; eligible concerns must be SBA-certified and designated as SDVOSB in SAM. The contractor must maintain required insurance, including workers’ compensation/employers’ liability, general liability, and automobile liability.
