Description
El Paso County seeks a qualified consultant to provide water treatment chemicals, related equipment, laboratory analysis, technical consultation, and field services for the County's boilers, cooling towers, hot water boilers, and associated mechanical systems. The scope includes compatible chemical products, Safety Data Sheets, delivery to County-designated facilities, inventory support, routine and emergency technical assistance, equipment inspection, water testing, corrosion coupon analysis, written service reports, and recommendations for treatment optimization. The contractor must provide at least 12 scheduled on-site service visits annually, qualified personnel for testing and technical support, laboratory capabilities for water, corrosion coupon, deposit, microbiological, ion exchange resin, and metallurgical analyses, and in-person training upon request. Proposed chemicals must be compatible with existing equipment, including Walchem Webmaster One and LMI Milton Roy pumps; any required replacement or installation of chemical feed or control equipment is the contractor's responsibility, subject to County approval. Responses must include technical and qualifications information, references, required certifications and forms, and a separate fee proposal. The initial contract term is one year with four additional one-year renewal options.
