Description
The City seeks a qualified provider to deliver limited emergency ground ambulance services between Saint George Regional Airport and Saint George Regional Hospital, including return transportation when clinically and operationally appropriate. The provider is expected to maintain adequate vehicles, equipment, facilities, and staffing; use trained and certified EMS personnel; coordinate with hospitals, fire departments, dispatch, and emergency management; and meet applicable Utah and federal requirements. The scope also includes patient safety and clinical protocols, timely response, performance reporting, and accurate, transparent billing. Proposals must describe the organization, Utah EMS licensure and certification, staffing and key personnel qualifications, relevant rural EMS experience, budget and fee schedule, service approach, equipment and facilities, and billing practices. The solicitation identifies proof of Utah EMS licensure and certification as a required upload. Insurance is required, with stated minimums including $1 million per occurrence for general liability, a $4 million general annual aggregate, and Utah statutory workers’ compensation limits.
