Description
The City of Friona is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and properly licensed or registered contractors to remove, dispose of, and clean up seven underground storage tanks and two above-ground fuel dispensers located on City property. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, permits, notifications, testing, disposal, materials, and documentation required to complete the work safely and in compliance with applicable regulations. The scope includes inspection and pre-removal activities; tank, piping, dispenser, and contaminated-material removal; transportation and disposal at authorized facilities; soil assessment and environmental testing; corrective action for petroleum contamination; excavation, backfilling, compaction, pavement or property restoration, final cleanup, and regulatory closeout documentation. Bidders must demonstrate TCEQ UST contractor registration and qualified on-site supervisor licenses, describe similar projects completed within the past five years, provide at least three references, identify proposed disposal facilities and subcontractors, and provide proof of required insurance coverage.
