Description
The United States Air Force Life Cycle Material Command is requesting a firm-fixed-price quotation from a small business for three engine lathes: two for Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico, and one for Travis Air Force Base, California. The requirement is a total small business set-aside, and unit prices must include all shipping, freight, handling, and delivery costs to the applicable Ship To location. The lathes must meet the salient characteristics in the solicitation’s technical materials and support precise shaping, cutting, and finishing of metal or other rigid materials. Amendment 0003 incorporates Government responses to vendor requests for information and extends the quotation deadline to September 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The responses clarify that equivalent modern tooling or turret configurations may be acceptable, the maximum spindle speed is 4,000 RPM with 3,500 RPM acceptable, and dimensions in the Technical Matrix are reference dimensions. Vendors must review the Government responses when preparing quotations; all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
