Description
San Mateo County Public Works is soliciting up to two contractors for plumbing job order contracts. Work will be defined through individual job orders and may include plumbing repairs, refurbishment, related construction tasks, and associated labor, materials, tools, and equipment at County facilities. The scope and schedule for each job order will be established separately; the contract term is one year, and the County does not guarantee a minimum volume of work. Each contract has a maximum value of $2 million. Bidders must hold an active California C-36 plumbing license and meet the stated experience and staffing qualifications. A $25,000 bid bond or cashier’s check is required with the bid; the successful contractor must provide payment and performance bonds and a letter of bondability after award. The proposal includes a completed bid schedule and evaluation figure, EEO questionnaire and contractor report, EEO compliance certification, antitrust questionnaire, and contractor declaration form.
